Wow. Holy crap.

I knew that the Lions could be so, so much better than they had played this year, but this...

Wow.

The Lions were exactly what they had to be today, cold-hearted assassins who went out and excecuted to the letter in every single phase of the game. No antics or immature idiocy (the extracurricular activities in the tunnel by Raiola pregame nonwithstanding), just go out and step on the throat of your enemy.

If anyone in this entire nation doubts that Matthew Stafford is not a Pro-Bowl caliber quarterback RIGHT NOW, please leave your name and address on the comment page here so I can come to your home and beat the ever-living shit out of you ala Jay and Silent Bob. Stafford went out in the most presure filled game of his career and put up Tom Brady/Peyton Manning/Drew Brees/Aaron Rodgers numbers. What else needs to be said about St. Calvin except, again, fuck you Chris Carter, please go die in a Croatian whorehouse and never trouble the free world again.

The way the team played in all phases of the game leads me to believe that nobody, NOBODY in this league can beat the Lions when they are firing on all cylinders. The Lions would have beaten the Packers, Pats, Saints, or anyone else today, home or away. That is why, IMHO, the Lions are now the most dangerous team in the playoffs, the one that everybody would just love to not have to play.

Now bring on the Harbaugh traitor and his 49ers.

All that being said, Happy Christmas to all here, have a joyous holiday season and blessings on you all for 2012.
